ST. LOUIS – Schneider Industries, Inc., an industrial and machinery liquidation auction service based in the St. Louis area, provided assistance with the Olde Saratoga Brewing Co. equipment auction in August 2018. The brewery’s owner, Vijay Mallya, has faced numerous legal and financial troubles which led to the abrupt closing of the brewery.
According to news reports, the intended auction served to sell the former brewery as a turnkey operation rather than sell of equipment to separate buyers. Schneider partnered with Tiger Group to oversee the auction which included items such as a Krones/Pearson bottling line and an automatic keg washing and filling system.
Olde Saratoga Brewing Co. was founded in 1997 and gained status as one of the biggest independent breweries in New York state before its sudden closure. The auction took place August 28th., 2018.
